Commencement of orientation seminar on
‘Research Database Access’
Under the patronage of His Excellency, Mr. Rashid Abdulla Alfalasi – Chairman, an orientation seminar on ‘Research Database Access’ is held by the Dr. Natasha Patel (Senior Marketing Executive) MarketLink London, UK. The chair to research activities UMS, Prof. Dr. Reda Moghaieb arranged the event on Mar 15, 2017, at 12:00 PM UAE time at Lecture Hall G 11 in University Of Modern Sciences.
In opening remarks, Dr Naeem Zafar Azeemi (COBA) highlighted the significance of seminar, which aims to provide UMS faculty members and students orientation on using multi-disciplinary Research Database Repository to enhance research and academic activities. Dr. Natasha Patel elaborated the benefits of database repository to pursue multi-disciplinary research activities, case studies and programs, Business, Management, Economics, Marketing, Accounting, Biotechnology, Health Sciences, Geography, Hair & Beauty, Agriculture, Travel & Tourism and Social Science courses, to name a few.
Higher management appreciate the commencement of such seminar to flourish the research and community engagement activities in UMS.
Seminar was concluded with future course of action on the utilization of database. It is agreed, MarketLink shall provide a free trial access for one week to UMS, starting from April 10, 2017.
