The Deanship of Student Affairs at the University Of Modern Sciences organized its first tournament in table tennis on Wednesday 02/05/2022, so various events in the university participated by academics, administrators and students. The number of participants in the tournament was 20 participants, and the tournament was held with the single elimination system. The tournament witnessed strong competition between the various participants, and showed clearly the dominance of the participants from the faculty of law in various matches.
Whereas Dr. Akmal Ramadan, Dean of the Faculty of Law has gained the championship after strong competition in the final match with the student Hazzaa Al Muhairi from Faculty of Mass Media, and the match ended with a score 2-0 and the result of the rounds was 11-8 and 11-4.
As well, the semi-final competitions witnessed strong matches between Dr. Akmal Ramadan, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and the student Khaled Al Hittawai, so the match lasted for more than a quarter of an hour which witnessed great competition between both players, but Dr. Akmal managed at the end of the third half to finish a match for his benefit 2-1. In the second semi-final match, the student Hazzaa Al Muhairi was able to overcome Ahmad Al-Masri from General Services Department in the university.
The Matches witnessed attendance of various departments and the deans of faculties of the university. The tournament was also supervised by Dr. Saeed Hamed, Dean of Student Affairs.
As well, a table tennis match was held between Dr. Lina Malloukh and Dr. Rania Gomaa, and Dr. Lina Malloukh managed to win with a score 2-1.

Second place winner: Student Hazzaa Al Muhairi
Third place winner: Student Khaled Al Hittawi
Third place winner: Ahmad Al-Masri
First place female winner: Dr. Lina Malloukh
